Whats a good laptop GPU for modern gaming ?

Hahahahahaha.... Yeah uh the gtx 650m is the best you'll get in a laptop in your price range and that's 1/3rd the power of the gtx 660.
This dell laptop is a decent option for you at $1000, but you could look around for others with a 650m gpu and a i7.

That's also a great deal, but keep in mind the gtx 660m is only about 10% faster than the 650m, so still nowhere near the performance you're used to.

But still better than 650 anyhow, so whats your point?
And lenovo does have good prices and good performance

Nothing against lenovo at all, I'm just making sure he understands that his expectations for laptop performance were unrealistic. The 660m is still worse than half the power of a gtx 660.

yeah guys i know my expectations are too high heres the bsaics

what i want out of it is
minecraft=highest settings
TF2=high or max
cod=atleast medium pref high
BF3=low or medium
CS:GO =maxed

and the Y580 i want is the 1366x768 the 1080p model is pointless with that small of a screen
