Great computer low FPS HELP!

Hey guys so here's what i really need to know.
I record and upload gameplay to youtube and used to be able to record at 30fps and get a 60fps in game. now it drops tremendously. If you guys think you know whats slowing my computer down for recording please let me know thanks!!. Here are my specs.

Motherboard : Phenom ROM BIOS PLUS VERSION 1.10 2.0.8
Processor : Quad core Cpu Q6600 SLACR @ 2.40 Ghz
Memory : 8gb DDR2 RAM
Graphics Card : Ati Radeon HD 5670
HDD : 250 Gb (I know thats terrible but plan on getting 1Tb in future)

Any information would help as i only get 80-100 FPS in game.

Thank you.

More about great computer help
  1. Ati Radeon HD 5670

it is not great... 7850 2GB is great.and make sure powersupply is decent
  2. So do you recon i should upgrade my graphics card?

All the games i play RECOMMEND a 1gb graphics card which is what ive got.

Would this really help and thanks for the fast reply.
  3. even gt 210 has 1GB.... and it only plays angry birds
  4. Its a 2 year old card man. Its not going to play modern games at all. I would recommend just building a whole new system.
  5. Unfortunately I second the recommendation for a new system.

If you can't afford it, I'd be looking at my hard drive. That's usually the bottleneck when it comes to recording, and that drive is going to be SLOW.
  6. Old and slow GPU, Probably an older HDD making recording stutter and CPU not helping out.

Maybe 2 drives. One to play and one to capture might help or even an SSD.

Look at the benches for your card in modern games. IT's way low down and in most cases not included because it's too slow/ not relevant.
