Can I delete this folder without any troubles?

I have done a format with windows 7 ultimate. When you do the format it makes a folder labeled Windows.old. I took everything i needed out of the folder. Is it safe to delete it?


I know this is a dumb question, i am sure it is ok. I just want to be sure.

It's basically just a backup when you reinstall windows on a partition that already had a windows folder, it's safe to delete it since you already got what ya needed.
