My friend is actually going to be building a new system and has been asking me for help, I usually just turn to you guys for all of my help.

Here's the system he's thinking about getting.

Case: Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower - Window - $90

I this is going to be a gaming system.

Suggesting that he gets an SSD (any prefered brands?), a 212 EVO over the V8, 8GB of RAM should be lots.

Anyone have any thoughts of that MoBo? Or any other concerns?

Thanks for any replys.

Solution
-much better motherboard without fail layouts
-you dont need that much ram for gaming
-a 670 performs a tad less than the 7970 but is going to have drivers that are a tad more stable. your call for him. my rig will work with either card
-dont get a crappy power supply
-better case. way better case

Thanks for the quick responses. Pretty much what I though. I like how BigTroll if i where to swap out the SSD with a Samsung 840 and the PSU with a Corsair TX650 you basically build my system.
