GTX 650 vs. HD 7770

Should I get the GTX 650 *NOT THE 650 TI* for $105 with Assassin's Creed 3 for free, or the HD 7770 for $120 with no free game. HELP PLS! Thanks

650 2gb 129.99 is the way to go.. Otherwise get the 1gb

The HD 7770 is better, but if you really want assassins creed free then get the GTX 650. Also, ignore Ilumunus, DO NOT get the 2GB version, it is a waste. The GK-107 GPU powering the GTX 650 is not powerful enough to utilize the 2GB of VRAM.

I don't know how good the GTX 650 but I have a HD7770 and it plays most of my games on high setting decent at 1080p. Ive been playing the mass effect series and its holding up.

My vote goes towards the HD 7770, proud owner of it and it maxes out every game for me @ 1600x900. If you do buy from newegg I am sure they bundle free games with the HD 7770.

I believe FC3 stands for Far cry 3. Either way they're both great games I hear, too bad I have yet to play it.

Yeah just grab the 7770 as it performs better and it has free games with it too right now. If you really wanted AC3 then grab the 650. If you want a strong card and AC3 then the 650ti.

Ugh this is a tough desicion because the HD 7770 has better performance from what I've seen. Yes I would be ordering from newegg the 7770 it comes with Far Cry 3 and Nexuiz or something (is it any good?). My friend is getting AC3 with the 650 for free, but idk about the multiplayer.

Well now would you like a free game with your video card but in other games not be able to get better framerates per second? At the core the HD 7770 is better, a free game should not persuade you easily. At the end of the day the option is yours but technically a free game should not persuade you in to giving in to a weaker card.

^GTX 650 TI is out of the price range of the GTX 650 and the HD 7770. In truth the GTX 650 ti is better than the HD 7770 but is more expensive. On newegg canada the HD 7770 is found around $100-$120 while the GTX 650 TI is around $160-$180.

After thinking about this some more the best option is to buy the HD 7770 with the game coupon, sell the game if you don't want it and buy AC3 if you still want that.
