Besides the Denon AVR-5803A, are there any new receivers out there with AC-3 RF
input?

Thanks!

I dont think the 5803 is new anymore. Most of the flagship ones still have
it, Denon 5805, Yamaha RX-Z1, Z9, RX-V1 had it, etc...

I have the Z1 and can confirm, but before that I had
a Yamaha 2095 and it did as well... in fact I think
every Yamaha I've looked at has the input.

Darrell, r u sure? I dont believe any of the 20XX series had AC-3 RF
inputs. They all required an RF demodulator in between the LD and the
LD/DVD input on the receivers...

Pioneer's Elite flagship receiver, the VSX-59TXi has a built in demodulator.
From what I've heard, it will be the last AV receiver from Pioneer to
include a demodulator.

I stand corrected - I don't have my 2095 anymore having
sold it when I got my Z1, but I checked the Yamaha online
manuals and it indeed does NOT have the AC3 connection.

I may have confused it with a 2300 which a friend of mine
got last week for $400 and we were looking on at that units
online manual and it does have the ac3 jack.
