Hello all, I was looking into builind my first gaming rig and wanted some opinions on the components so far. Nothing is really set in stone and I would like to keep my options open as to future upgrades. I would like to keep the GTX as the main component as I will be doing most if not all of my gaming on here and would like the option to add a second card in the future. Other than that I would like some opinions as to what I have...any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance...Here is my list of parts thus far...

yeah that would be a pretty nice computer I might go with a little better hdd though and if you have that much money to put into a computer you might as well get a little faster memory.

your memory is fine, as for ssd i'd suggest samsung 840 pro because they're top notch.
For HDD you can stay with your current choice or switch to WD black, but either is fine.

Thanks so far for the responses...I guess my main concerns so far are the Motherboard and the CPU cooler...Im worried as how they will hold up in the future and if the Cooler will be enough once I do go with more than one GPU

after a bit more researching...I am seeing that Intel will be releasing their new CPUs this year...Haswell I believe it is...would holding off on Ivy Bridge now be a wise move...Id hate to but something now only to have it outdated within a few months/3 months. Any opinons on that?

actually no, 3770k will not become outdated. it's very viable cpu and as i see it, if i had one, i'd keep it for 5 years. Besides when haswell comes out the price on the ivy supposed to drop.

now what if I would downgrade that CPU to a I5-3570k and use the savings to buy another GPU. Would that be too much?

gtx 670 is awesome, you don't need something else. gtx 680 costs 100$ more but performs almost the same as 670 so no point.
