I was looking to get a new graphics card for my build and I laid my eyes upon the Radeon HD 7870 (MSi HAWK specifically). I wanted to know if my PSU could handle the card and the rest of the components.

Specs:

CPU: i5-2500k Overclocked to 4.5Ghz

Mobo: Asrock Extreme3 Gen3

Memory: 8 gigs of Crucial at 1600mhz

HDD: 2, 400gb each, WD hard-drives

A CD-Drive

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212+ (I don't think that really matters though).

And finally the PSU is a OCZXStream Pro 600W

I thought it would be alright because of the power supply's total of 50 Amps on the
12V

I think it would be OK. http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.js... I use this site usually to check if a PSU is good enough or not. Newegg has a calculator as well http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntell/tool/psucalc/index...

I just used the both of them and they recommend at least 500W of power. Do you think I have enough leg room for over clocking the card?
