No signal on monitor straight from boot

I was gaming the other day on my Acer, and then switched to my laptop to write a paper, so i put the acer desktop into sleep mode. when i was finished i tried waking the pc, my monitor got no signal, i had to shut it down manually, but when i turned it on again, still no signal, i tried again this morning, and still nothing. The GPU is Nvidia GT220, and the PC model is an Aspire M3203. Anyone know how to fix this problem, do i need a new GPU or is it fixable? :(

More about signal monitor straight boot
  1. also, the motherboard is AMD 780G
  2. 780G sound like you mobo has onboard graphics beside the GT220? Connect the monitor to the board and try to boot.
