Hey guys, this is my first time posting, but after trawling the web, and having a phone call with acer telling me to ring their premium 50p/minute number, basically I have the acer ET.VG5HE.009 3D monitor, on a 6950 IceQ Xturbo AMD card.
The monitor is connected via a HDMI cable, and it is great in 2D, but when it switches to 3D, the screen isnt filled up. There is like an inch wide gap all around it. Here's a picture:
The picture is when playing the latest batman movie through cyberlink power DVD 12.
I couldnt screen shot it because it actually sets the screen to that size, not just the application.
Also, its not just DVD's, its any 3D application. Dirt 3, Battlefield 3 etc. And also, the screen becomes EXTREMELY laggy, even when I switch to the desktop, the mouse goes at about 5 FPS, which is ridiculous because the 3D material plays smoothly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. But the resolution of this monitor is set to its native 1920x1080. And the overscan is set to 0%.
EDIT: Just tried the YT3D search and tried out a few of those videos in interlaced row form. They work amazingly and are completely full screen.
