Not necessarily. My girlfriend has an old Nokia (2-3 years old) and I
have a new 6230. Sure, her charger will fit into mine and mine in
hers, but the voltage is different. Just because it fits doesn't mean
its ok. You should look at the voltage on the ac adapter for the 6600
and the 6230 and make sure they are the same.

Nokia make several chargers. For example the ACP-7, ACP-8, ACP-12.
They are all different voltages, the acp-7 is the 'basic slow charger'
going up to the acp-12 which is the 'fast travel charger'. The
voltages are different between the acp-7 and acp-12, true. But they
are both compatible with most nokia models.

GEESE go on Ebay put in your make and model and see if your model is
combined with any other model numbered phones..
If not ... buy one for a buck and pay the 7.00 dollars shipping so your
boyfriend can have his charger back ya cheap bastage

The current supplied by these chargers is also different. Check the online
manuals on the nokia website to see which chargers are compatible with your
phone.
