Internet Connection

Hello,

My laptop is connected to USB modem for internet connection. I would like to connect another computer to same internet connection. So i used LAN cable to establish connection. it worked well for first time. But now it is not connecting. Kindly help me out,how to connect two computers to same internet connection?

What is happening exactly, error messages? Is internet connection sharing turned on and configured on both computers?

What type of internet do you have? Sounds like maybe cable? If so then there could be an issue with the IP addresses. It should only be assigning 1 to a device but since you have 2 devices plugged in the second may not get an address since it would be public and again you're only allowed 1 public IP address
