My son needs a new computer for school. He is not a gamer. the computer will be used for internet, streaming videos, audio editing, photo editing, and homework. I am on a budget that is why i went with amd. I would like to know if I should get a mb with a fx990 chipset instead of 997 or any other component on the build. Thank you all for your help.
All advice would be appreciated

No bueno. One of the absolute worst power supplies on the market you could buy - go with a Corsair CX500 instead. Plus 630W is also overkill for this setup.

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6570 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card (100324L) $64.99

I'd actually say no to this too - onboard video would be better than a card this low end. Go with an A10-5800K if you're on a budget.

Try this:

3 things we would like to know before giving huge recommendations:

1. What is the budget?
2. Does that include the Monitor?
3. Does that include the OS?

Buying a computer is like buying a car: you figure out how much you want to spend, then you find the best option for that price.
