Budget Desktop Build - General Use

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to build a decent windows 7 desktop for my parents. I want to spend about $350 including tax but not the OS. Here is what I have in mind. Any input would be great.

The rest of the parts don't matter too much. How do these ones sound? She will only be using it for general use/web browsing.

  1. I think it looks fine. The only thing I would highly suggest is upgrade that A4 to an A8. It's $10 off making it a $45 upgrade from what you chose. Just remember, the A8 is still only about equivalent CPU performance to a Pentium class CPU. I would really try to squeeze that in there. It would give a little more life out of it later down the road.
