Not enough VRAM detected

I would like to know how i can get my pc to detect more vram from my card. I have subnormal fps in applications by quite a lot at higher resolutions.
I have downloaded "nvenabler" but don't know how to use it, please could i get help with this.
my gpus are 2 gtx 580s at 1.5gb each.

Well, what res and what games are you playing to get that error? You can not just add more Vram to video card, doesn't work like that. GPU-Z will probably tell ya how much Vram you are using.
