Heat issue?

GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core

2-GIGABYTE Super Overclock Series GV-N580SO-15I GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

I have been currently playing Planetside 2 on high settings, and I noticed while using GPU-Z that my main graphics card hit 98c. I know that this is a very high temp and is above the 97c thermal limit the card is rated on, but it only does this for about 2 minutes in around a 2-3 hour period. The rest of the time it fluctuates between 83c-92c and lists the average GPU temp rating at 87c overall. My question is should I be worried that it hits 98c for ONLY 2 minutes during a long gaming session? I have several fans blowing through my NZXT Phantom PHAN-001RD Case, creating positive airflow by bringing in air from the side and front and venting it out the back and top. Thanks for any advice!
