Intermittent internet

Hello, my internet drops off once a few times day. Unplugging power and plugging back in after a short time seems to cure it temporarily. It just happened during a chess game and I did not know it was off until my piece would not move. Any ideas what causes this please?

You mean restarting your router helps? If so, then make sure you have the latest firmware update for it.

Also, do you connect by Ethernet, or wireless?
