More about good cheap card
  1. Go w/a 7770 or a 650ti both have good performance per dollar, and are about equal.
  2. 7770 Msi Ghz edition at newegg for 86$ after reabte. The best deal
  3. well the both 650 Ti and HD 7770 is about $130 (and increase further with different brands)

If you could stretch your budget a bit, it'll be great. or else go with the after rebate as prototype18 mentioned above.

    Good Luck

GTX 650 ti outperforms Radeon 7770 not by a little, but by a margain, it would be stupid to get the Radeon 7770.
  5. My most recent builds have focused heavily on future-resistance. Accordingly, the GTX6xx[Ti] cards are off the table, for their crippled Compute performance. It doesn't matter in today's games, but it might tomorrow. What if someone writes a great AI engine that can run on a GPU? Kepler would probably fall flat on its face. I'll give up a couple of FPS now to avoid that risk.
If either of these are outside of your budget, look for a HD7750 at the high end of your budget, or a GDDR5 version of the HD6670 a little lower. Be advised though, I just recently played some GW2 at 1600x900 on a HD6670, and I had to turn most settings to "low" to get playable FPS.

Well the OP has a price limit.

    2) New drivers for AMD from 12.11 beta 1 to 12.11 Beta 8.

So AMD improved greatly the performance. So for that price 7770 is just great. If not 650 Ti would be good.

GTX 560 ti??? Yeah, it's the 600 series the big changes are happening. I got GTX 660 and I see huge improvement.
  12. Well 560 Ti is still a decent card and clock to 975/2215Mhz its really good.

And can easily max out any game i throw at. But my 20$ CPU is limiting me.
