None of those Cards would run well on your PSU, you need to aim lower. :)

Actually, a quality 400w PSU can power up a 7850 perfectly fine. That card is one of the most power-conservative GPUs in this generation, it should only go up 'til ~340W @ FULL load, which doesn't really happen very often.

Though at that point, the PSU would be working very hard, I suggest at least 450-500w.

GTX 660 is more power efficient than Radeon 7850, so he could just get that and better performance instead?

Yes you really need to upgrade your PSU. 400w will not cut it and I think its a generic one too. Get a CX500 for cheap and it will run any of those cards without any problems.

No, not really.

The 660 is slightly more expensive as well. If he's going in that price range, might as well get the 7870, same power draw.

Sorry I compared the 7870 TDP vs the GTX 660 TDP.

660 has 140 watt TDP while 7850 has 130 watt TDP.

I am still wondering if a 7850 would fit, if not what PSu would you recommend?

or also if I were to keep this psu what's the best card I would get, according if any exist that would run BF3 or Natural-Selection2 decently
