Viewsonic VS13868 Projector Windows8

My Viewsonic VS13868 Projector is not being detected by my new Dell 17-3721 laptop with Windows 8. Yes I did check to see if ViewSonic has Windows 8 drivers available to no avail. Does anyone know if there is some workaround..? Thanks.

Maybe try running your projector in a virtual machine? Either that, or dual boot windows 7. Currently, there are no other ways to use hardware not factory-supported by Windows 8 without the proper drivers.
