I am looking to upgrade my video card, money is not an issue i was lookin at the Radeon HD 7970 and geforce 660 ti, leaning more twards the Radeon HD 7970 just because of the 3gb DDR5.

What is a good card to get if im only running at 1400x900 resolution? I will eventualy get 2 or three to put into SLI so I am going to keep for a while

thanks for all the help!!

-1 It won't be too much in two years or so.

Go for the HD 7950 - it will last you nearly 3 years at that res, and you'll have plenty of VRAM to support XfireX if you want to add another card down the road. It's also almost as good as the HD 7970 and GTX 670, but much cheaper. And it can be overclocked at least 25%.

VSync'd 60fps in every game with max antialiasing and settings is no fun?

Btw, I notice very little visual improvement when I swap in my 24" 1080p TV. A 1920x1200 monitor is the only res I would upgrade to. But that would mean buying more expensive video cards as well...
