Problems printing after replacing linksys router

Hello,

My linksys router quit workin so I replaced it with the same type router and now I'm not able to print at all. The printer is showing on line as the default printer and has received the print job but it won't print.

Check to see if the printer shows up in the router attached device table.

Printers are generally best put on a static or reserved dynamic address, which acts like a static address within the dynamic assigned address range.

edit: my answer assumes that it is a network printer, either wired or wireless.
