Since my LD-V2200 doesn't exactly have the best picture as far as LD
players go, I was wondering if perhaps installing a small capacitor on
the vide line would help reduce noise? I know "snow" in the video is
very sharp peaks of noise compared to the rest of the signal, so
perhaps a cap would help smooth these out?? anybody ever attempted
this?

Just turn down the sharpness on your TV, that is what adding a capacitor
would do to filter this. Snow usually comes from the LD itself, find one
that is a better pressing.
