Laptop shut down for months

Hello,
i have a hp pavillion dv6, about 7 months ago i put it away and didnt use it. When i finally turned it back on it kept pressing o's as if the key were sticking, after fixing the problem, or better yet, after the problem stopped, the sound stopped. I have no idea what this could be, I also noticed that there are no updates on the security manager. Could anyone please shed a little light on my situation please? Thanks, Amber

Where was it stored? Was there a dramatic change in room temperature. Sounds like there is a short in your keyboard which could be the result of condensation, or turning on the laptop when the unit itself was very cold.
