Getting gmail through Outlook

Hi All,

Long time reader and now new member . I was hoping for some advice on how to get Outlook to connect to Gmail IMAP servers when the ports are blocked through a firewall. Opening the ports in the firewall is not an option so any help will be great.

Why do you think the ports are blocked in the firewall? Do you even know the port numbers Gmail uses for IMAP?
