Right now I have a HD 6870 and my brother needs a better card so im giving him my 6870. I have about $220 to spend, so what would be a nice good upgrade coming from my 6870?

I was thinking a GTX 560 Ti, but not sure if that'd make a difference.

I have a Sapphire HD 6870 if that matters.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Nothing really in that price range.

Might as well buy another one and CF them.

Would I see any difference in a GTX 560 Ti?
If I dont see a difference, would the GTX 560 Ti be at least on the same level or better than my 6870?

The 560ti isn't really an upgrade, it's more of a sidegrade. You're really looking at either a GTX 660, 660ti, or radeon 7870.

The 7850 or a cheaper 7870 are good choices here. You will see about 50% increase in performance and if you save a bit and grab a decent 7870 you can OC to the performance level of a 7950... The 560ti wont be an upgrade btw.

Would the HD 7870 be a better upgrade than a GTX 660 non Ti?
