New Gaming/CAD Build: Opinions/Advice

January 14, 2013 10:28:10 AM

Hey everyone,
First time building my own computer. Tried to include as much information as possible. Just looking for advice and opinions on my current planned build.

Approximate Purchase Date: 2weeks

Budget Range: $1400-1600 AUD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, CAD/engineering programs.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, Windows 8.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: http://pccasegear.com/

Location: Australia

Parts Preferences: Only real preference is an Intel CPU

Overclocking: In the future

SLI or Crossfire: In the future

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Additional Comments: I play World of Warcraft fairly seriously so I'd like to have a graphics card that can handle High settings. Also play Rift, Starcraft2 and use Creo Parametric for engineering design at Uni.

The main issue i'm having is deciding on a suitable graphic card.
