First Gaming PC Build, few questions

Hi, this is my first ever pc build and I was just wondering if all the parts I have chosen are compatible, and the best value for my budget.

My budget is $1000-$1200, I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I'm gonna use this pc for mostly gaming and using the internet. I also need a monitor. Not planning on SLI but I will overclock eventually.

Here's what I have:

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 - $149.99

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB DDR3 1600 - $47.99

EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB - $299.99

SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular - $93.99

COOLER MASTER HAF 922 - $109.99

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache - $89.99

CPU Cooler/Fan:
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus - $34.99

Optical Drive:
ASUS 24X DVD Burner - $19.99

Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit - $99.99

Total: $1173.90

In my opinion you can have a good case for much less $ :

    And a cheaper hdd :

    And a cheaper psu :

How knows you might even get a 670 GTX with the price difference :

You'd really suggest the CX600 over the Seasonic model? I'm not sure I would advise that. :heink:

    I would suggest a Radeon 7950 over a 660TI but that's just me:
  2. For the 660 ti or 670 gtx a CX600 will do, i know the seasonic is better, but the Corsair will do and it's cheaper, also modular, with the rebate it nets 59.99$, if you say otherwise, it's not true.
As for the card, i'd just stick either to the 660 ti or the 670 gtx.
