Definitely go with the HD 7850. 2 low range cards like that in Xfire are notorious for micro-stutter problems.

7770 Xfire provides better performance... for games that support crossfire anyways...

I have yet to notice any micro stuttering with xfire using 7770's, 7750's, 6670's, 3870's or 7770 and 7750 together in xfire...

I will also say that the 7850 2GB offers the best price/performance of any single card, especially when overclocked.

I base that on my experience with a pair of HD 6870s, others' experiences, and this article: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-geforce-stut...
But as the article states, some folks just aren't bothered by M-S or don't notice it. I wasn't so lucky.
