Low cost home nas Tags: Build NAS / RAID Systems Product Last response: January 15, 2013 12:07 AM in Systems Share hopefulhype January 14, 2013 11:51:39 PM Looking to build the cheapest nas i can build. not sure what mobo or processor i should use. it wont need much power but the only processorsim really familiar with are intel i chips. i was looking into atom chips bt dont know much about those. i already have 3 1tb wd red drives and a mini itx case main areas where im having trouble are the mobo and processor dont need a dvd drive looking to spend 500 or less, with the drives and case im already at around 270 any help would be apprecaited.
