32 inch LCD or 27 inch Monitor from 4 feet away

Hey guys,
I know this question has been asked ad infinitum, but does anyone have any suggestions as to whether I should buy a 27 inch 1080p monitor or a 32inch 1080P LCD? I work about 4 feet away from my computer, so please factor that into your advice. Right now I have a 32inch 720p HDTV connected via dvi and a 46 inch 1080p HDTV (approx. 12 feet away) as a secondary monitor.

Also, which do you reccomend?

Price range: ~400
NO catleap
Color accuracy is important
Not a fan of ghosting.

Go to an electronics store, and sit in front of both screen sizes yourself. My initial thought is that you already have a 32 so why go down in size when you're used to the 32. Get a 1080P though.

I was thinking this, but I'm also concerned with ghosting/latency issues. From what I gather, no HDTV is as good for gaming/accurate video editing as most monitors.

Thanks for the input, all.

Any suggestions on models? Here are some I was considering:
