Lost mouse

I lost my mouse on my laptop. please help , i have a wireless mouse iam useing , but i want to beable to use the one on my mouse to please help.

You mean the one built into your laptop... lol. Well ok first lets go into device manager and look as...obviously the Mouse section. If the mouse built into the laptop is detected and showing a driver for it. then....your onboard mouse is.....gone.

go to device manager, uninstall it, it should reinstall itself once you give it a moment to refresh.

I have never heard about a mouse built into a laptop. Kinda funny to think of one.

It may have been disabled, so you need to enable it by pressing a combination of keys on the keyboard. Consult with the laptop's User Guide.

It could also have been disabled in the BIOS.

Could you identify your laptop? Make, model?
