If the mouse built into the laptop is detected and showing a driver for it. then....your onboard mouse is.....gone. Upvote 0 Downvote

Kinda funny to think of one. It may have been disabled, so you need to enable it by pressing a combination of keys on the keyboard. Consult with the laptop's User Guide.
