how can i check if my netgear N300 adapter wna3100 is compatible with apple tv device

I was told that I needed a dual band router to play HD movies from itunes (ipad)

It's your router make and model we would need to be able to help, not just the wireless adapter. Find that and either post back or Google for its specifications.

ok I have a Technicolor TG587n v3 router - ive googled the specs but can't see what i'm looking for re; dual band and wether it will cope with HD movies over wireless network from apple tv
