Delete message in outbox

Several messages unable to be sent in outbox. Would like to delete them all.
How?

Go to Outbox.
Find the messages.
Right mouse click and choose Delete.

The best way is to set Outlook in Offline mode.

Click on "File" menu and click on the "Work Offline" option. Close Outlook and reopen it.

Try deleting it from the Outbox folder.

Let me know if you still get the same issue.

Thank you, but my iPad doesn't have a mouse nor any port to connect one. Any other ideas?

I tried the 'tap and hold,' and although the screen became blue, no options appeared. I'm really computer challenged!

You'll need to work though the program's menus if the short-cuts aren't working.

What email program are you using?

I think you are using the Free yahoo account (just a guess).

Yahoo (free version) does not include the POP3 feature to be used with any email client like Outlook, thunderbird, Windows Live Mail etc... If you are using the free email from Yahoo, you will need upgrade it to the Yahoo Mail Plus. It is $19.99 per year. Check with Yahoo Customer for the upgrade else, login to your Yahoo account, go to Mail Options. Click on the POP and email forwarding option. You will find the option to upgrade to the Yahoo mail Plus.

Finally figured it out by accident- scanned the message and delete appeared!
