Is this motherboard compatible with the hd 5770? i have a AMD phenom x4 9650 with 4gb ram in the motherboard and i don't wanna bottleneck :/

well i just installed a geforce 310 on my dad pc, its an hp as well, and the card works nice, one big factor its the power supply, my dad one has 300w wich is just enough for the card i used, also its pci 1.0 or 2.0?

It's compatible with any PCIe x16 slot. But you're going to be limited to less than 1920x1080 resolution with that combo unless you turn the eye candy way down. What rez is your display?

again even if its compatible check your power supply this is the minimum you need for that card:

Depending on the game, give it a shot at 1080p. If you don't like the frame rates, you can always drop to a common aspect ratio like 1366x768. It will fly at that rez.
