Naw, there are many people in this group that look for any excuse to
bash a product that is different from the one they personally own. Yes,
the SD storage is a slight negative on the D50, but not enough to worry
much about. It will just cost you a bit more for the larger capacity
cards, and really large capacity cards are not available yet.

SD seems to be common on low-end (non-SLR) cameras. I bet their market
research told them that many potential D50 buyers already have an SD
card or two, but no CF.
