Hi

My new PC is up and running however when running the 8gb of g skill ram that I have for it, the computer restarts over and over when it boots up. After I take 4gb out it stops restarting and works fine.

Can anyone please tell me what is wrong and how I can fix it as I really want to utilize my full 8gbs.

PC Specs
i5-3570K
Asus P8Z77-V mobo
G-Skill Ripjaws 8GB 1600Mhz
Sapphire 7750 1Gb gddr5

Any help would be great! :)

Thanks

The stick you took out is dead, I recently had the same problem.
Take it back to the retailer you got it from and get an RMA, if you got the two sticks as part of a kit you'l likely have to take that back as well. Or if your warranty with them is expired, you can directly get an RMA from G.Skill, though it will probably take ages.
