Battlefield 3 w/ GTX 660 and i3 540 average fps?

title pretty much says it all. Can I run Battlefield on normal settings, 1280x720? If so what FPS. I don't want to waste 60 bucks on the damn game if i won't get half decent performance, lol.

With an i7 3960x it will get 42fps average. So with that i5 it will be a little lower. Not by a huge amount. I'm sorry to say that you won't find benchmarks with that cpu, most test with the one listed above or a 3770k.

That's kind of bs, lol. I mean, its the internet. Some one has to of done sometype of test with an i3 540. but, thanks anyway.

Haha, I'm sure there is one, but it is gonna be pretty hard to find.

Yes, the graphics card will be capable of that easily. Your processor, however, might struggle with multiplayer a bit - even an i7 of that generation will struggle with 64 person multiplayer.
