Hello everyone!!

I am building up a rig for my gaming mainly. I want to get a GPU within a budget of 180$. There is no preferred brand.
My main concern is BANG FOR THE BUCK!!

The other parts I have selected are :
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme 3
CPU: Intel i5 3450 3.1 Ghz LGA 1155
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-600GUK 600 Watts PSU
I thinks that is all you need..!!

I want to play games like Crysis 2, GTA 4, Call of duty, Split Second etc.

Thank You.!!

Yes the HD7850, which destroys it in pretty much all games.

the 7850 beats the gtx 660 in most games except for heavily optimized nvidia games where a gtx 660 beats a 7950

I checked out the 7850 HD 2GB but its way over my budget.
It is priced at 15000 INR whereas my budget is around 10000 INR..!!

Thank You..!!

Well there is always the differences like Nvidia has better software like physX, v-sync, & fxaa but they aren't supported by many games. Nvidia also tends to run cooler, quieter, & use less power. Amd has better 5760x1080 support(nvidia for 3d), overclocking monsters, & better from a raw performance stand point. Really it comes down too price & what games you play if you read a benchmark or two you get an idea which cards work better for what games. Amd makes better budget cards while nvidia has better higher end cards.

Hmm parts are probably more expensive in india so the 7850 is a nogo?

Well the radeon 7770 is also a good bang for your buck so go for that

I am using www.flipkart.com for buying these parts. Please check graphics cards there and recommend me one.
Or should I go with the ATI Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5.....??

Thanks....!!

Guyss I have another question for you to solve. Please help me out of this.

I have planned out all parts so i will be buying an ATI Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5.The brand is Sapphire. So i was wondering if there would be an issue using it in an ASRock Z77 Extreme3 motherboard.

Is there any problem like an ASUS branded graphic card will only work with an ASUS motherboard......??

Please Help...!!Thanks in advance everyone.......!!

Cooler and quieter all depends on the manufacturer and how they design the cards, you shouldnt really put "who runs quieter or cooler" in a AMD vs Nvidia since cards differ from company to company

No nothing like that, otherwise Sapphire will have to make their own motherboards lol
