The RPC server is unavailable - Windows 7

I write command
net start RpcSs
but give me system error 5 has occurred

Huh what are you trying to do?

You have to run the command prompt as administrator....to do certain tasks. Are you logging in as aadministrator?

If so....find your command prompt exe, right click on it, and select "Run as administrator" try it out again.

I am trying to define my HP printer on my laptope which is windows7& has only one user which is Admin.

If you don't "run as administrator" under the command prompt...you won't be able to do much.
