GTX 580 SLI replacement

I am in a pickle, need to figure out why performance is poor for my GTX 580 3GB SLI. I run a 2500K at 3.8Ghz, 16GB RAM at 1600MHz, Corsair force 3 Drive for OS and another for Steam Apps. Running MOHW, Hitman Abs, FarCry 3, my performance appears to be a touch above 30 FPS at 1920 x 1200 Res. Would replacing the CPU or GPU's result in higher frame rates? I want to also swap from dell ultrasharp 24" to a Samsung Series 6 LED TV so I want to make sure that I get the best result come Crysis 3 and other new titles for the future.

Try disconecting one gtx and using only one for games and see if that helps

After you swap monitors you'll go from 1920x1200 to 1920x1080. There will be a increase in performance there but you should be getting higher frames with those games you listed I get that with xfired 6770 at 1080p.
