high point raid

i have an abit kg7 raid and i am using the raid(of course). i am wondering, if i get a raid card will i lose the information on my raid array?

i would like to get rid of highpoint because there is a conflict with my sound card drivers(hercules game theatre xp). i like music, so this is really irritating.

Yes, you would lose the information on your array. What problems are you having? I have an Abit KT7A-RAID and the GTXP with no problems.

well, here is the problem that i have been having, which is recognized by hercules and is on their site.

oddly it has a solution which i dont recall seeing before but maybe i just missed it. right off the bat i cant recall what version of highpoint drivers im using but i doubt they are the beta.
