  1. do you wnat to OC or not?

212 evo + z77 are capable of handling OC 3570k

but with 3470 it is just perfect :)
  2. Hi, it's better to just drop the cooler and that motherboard since you have the i5-3470, it allows for better card like the 7870.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($188.79 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($69.99 @ Newegg)
    Memory: Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($35.57 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card ($238.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ Amazon)
    Power Supply: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($53.99 @ NCIX US)
    Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224BB DVD/CD Writer ($15.99 @ Newegg)
    Total: $653.30
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
  3. Oh wow quick answers ! :D

    No I don't plan to OC. Between 3570K and 3470, I save like 40$ ^^

The Asrock mobo is really interesting. Everything I need.
And good idea to upgrade to 7870.

Is there a big difference with 200R and 300R ?
  4. ^ personally i will pick cheaper case as it is just case, as long as it has good airflow. adds no performance to pc at all. corsair 200R is good choice :)
  5. Hi, i think it's best the 200R for your budget, it's a good case, the best at it's price.
All those changes allows you to buy a better card, my recommendation, for a 7870, get an asus, gigabyte, msi :)
  6. I can get the CM 690 II for 66$, after 15$ MIB.
    Better choice no ?
