Yes this build will work fine.

Managed to get a gtx660 in there. Slightly better than an hd 7870.

Looks like a great build. I would check online frequently when it comes to the graphics card as there are new deals everyday. I ended up getting a Msi 660ti for 239 after rebate on newegg after numerous searches. Now that I think of it a 660ti prob wont work with that psu, but check everyday nonetheless

You can run a 660ti without issue on a good 500w PSU. The 660ti maxes at 312w under full load.

Why a micro ATX board and a mid-ATX case? Take advantage of the small form factor and get a micro ATX case!
