The intel will be a bit faster, but honestly, the Phenom II will be more than enough for that card / the sort of gaming you're looking at - the only things it would struggle with is Skyrim on max and wow in cities.

(Ditch the crap-o PSU on that rig, though, and get a reliable one.)

and i took the liberty of making a few changes. its a bit silly to chop off 1TB of storage to save $20. (500Gb will be enough unless you got a buttload of movies) but the added $20 by going with an XFX 550, which is enough, will open the door to getting an MSI 7870 HAWK; an outstanding card.
