Useless for anything but caching the HDD.
When you get an SSD, 128GB of pretty much the minimum size to get. Because after formatting and installing Windows (which is the main reason for an SSD) you have ~90GB left for programs. Plenty for programs and a few games.
If you were to get a 64GB SSD, by the time thats one you only have ~30GB. Not enough to fit much, a friend of mine is regretting doing that as hes down to 100MB on his SSD.

Thank you very much, this is the most helpful response I have ever received! (I don't know if that sounds sarcastic the way I've written it, but it's true!) :)

Erm... what? Do you have experience with them?

Yeah, they're small, but they are SO worth it, and useful for pretty much everything.

No, you can't put your 20TB porn collection on a SSD, but you don't need to - it already loads plenty fast.

What you do do is put windows and certain programs on it. You push the power button and are on a usable desktop in 12 seconds... photoshop opens in less than a second, instead of more than a minute. Everything feels snappy and responsive.

There's a reason Tom's is calling it the best upgrade that can be done currently to an office or home computer.
