HD3D vs. 3D Vision/crappy nivida 3Dtv play

Hello,
What i'm asking does HD3D look (depth/convergence) as good as 3D Vision does 3D Vision will stick out 2 feet from you face while sitting 8 feet away from your tv or monitor and res. at 1920x1080p60fps desktop but 3D game runs about 30fps with a gtx570 but that is using its own separate ir emitter & Glasses. Now HD3D uses the monitors built in emitter and glasses I'm hoping that HD3D doesn't look like that crappy nivida 3Dtv play which is less powerful/3D potent than the PS3 and only sits at 720p60fps.
