Hi there just finished building my new pc i have encountered two problems

1: my I/O panel is not working at all what could be the cause of this?

2: my GPU doesnt seem to be working the fan is not spinning and when i plug my HDMI into it i get no signal

im using a 550W psu

when i put my mouse usb connector in i get a bit of power go into my mouse put thens its gone in a fraction of a second

Have you used the correct cords to power the gpu. is it seated in the pci lane correctly. is it in the preferred one as in the mobo manual? are all the power supply cables seated firmly in their sockets?

sounds like you forgotthe 8/4 pin pci power plug.

my gpu is allowed with my mobo i have a HIS radeon HD 7850 my mobo is a Asrock Z77 pro4 ive had it in both pci express 3.0, properly placed in both slots i have noticed though that on the golden fingers of the card i have a tiny notch taken out of the last finger closest to the lock in bracket is this normal? plus does anyone have any advice for my i/o problem?

i forgot to add i put both the 6 connector and the 6 connector with the additional 2 on the side into the slot on the PCU and made sure they where secure

most new mb the onboard chipset is set as the main video till you change it in the bios. also make sure the white 4/8 pin axt power plug is connected.

i just pulled everything out and put it all in together and it all worked =)
