670 gtx 2gb vs 4 gb

I am looking to upgrade from my 470 gtx SLI to a 670, i have a 3d monitor and do a lot of 3d gaming.
My question is am i better off getting the 4gb to handle the extra load of 3d or should i just stick with the normal 2gb card

Cheers
Mike

  1. I would say that the four gigabyte version of the 670 would be a must. I hear that 3D gaming is really tough on your gpu's memory. So the 4 gigs would really help out with that. Also I've seen games use more than 2 gigabytes of memory at 1080p, so you are still better off going with the four gig version of the card.
I hope that helped you out :)
