What cord for my monitor to display my screen...?

Just got my custom built computer from the shop (I ordered all the parts), but I have one problem. It won't display on my monitor. I tried using a vga cable but it didn't display. What cord do I need?

I didn't see any plugs that came with the video card or even a vga cord.
